Jersey Finance has named William McGilivray as new business development director for London, replacing Richard Nunn.

McGilivray will act as the main representative for Jersey Finance in London in his new position.

In addition, McGilivray will identify opportunities and build relationships between Jersey and the City, and for supporting member firms with their private wealth management, funds and capital markets growth strategies.

He has 20 years of financial services experience working with ultra-high-net-worth families, focusing on alternative investment funds.

McGilivray has previously worked as a wealth management director for Northern Trust and Bedell Group. He started his career in Boston, Massachusetts, where he provided management consultancy services to US asset managers and specialized in wealth management for private clients, fund management and administration.

Meantime, Nunn has assumed a new role within Jersey Finance as business development director for the Middle East.
