HSBC Private Bank has named Fan Cheuk Wan as the new managing director and head of investment strategy for Asia.
Wan, will be based in Hong Kong, will be tasked with developing regional investment strategies and themes across all asset classes.

She will also oversee the advisory framework and the sales management process.
Wan most recently served as the managing director and CIO, Asia-Pacific at Credit Suisse Private Banking.
Previously, she also had stints at ABN AMRO Bank, Cazenove Asia, BNP Peregrine Securities and Standard Chartered Securities in senior positions.
In addition, HSBC has also appointed Lionel Kwok as its new managing director and head of sales management for Asia.

He will also be responsible for ensuring that the process is in line with the bank’s global advisory programme.
In a financial career spanning over 30 years, Kwok most recently served as regional head of investment counselling for Asia.
He also held the roles of head of investment advisory, North and South East Asia at Standard Chartered Private Bank and head of investment solutions at Credit Suisse Private Banking for clients in North Asia before joining HSBC.
