Credit Suisse has hired Henrik Aslaksen, the former global head of mergers and acquisitions at Deutsche Bank, as head of strategic client coverage for its investment bank and capital markets (IBCM) division in EMEA.
Aslaksen will be based in London and start his new role on 25 April 2015, according to a memo Credit Suisse sent to staff.

He will focus on Credit Suisse’s largest global clients and be based in London, the memo added.
Aslaksen, has more than 20 years experience in investment banking, joined Deutsche Bank in 2002 from Merrill Lynch.
In 2007, he was elevated to the role of co-head of M&A for Europe at Deutsche Bank. He was named global co-head of M&A a year later and global head in 2010.
