British wealth manager St. James’s Place (SJP) has acquired technical support services provider Technical Connection for an undisclosed amount.
Since its incorporation in 1991, Technical Connection has been providing technical resource to St. James’s Place. The company provides consultancy on taxation, trusts, financial products and product development.

Following the acquisition, the technology vendor will continue to operate from its existing premises in central London.
The acquisition will see SJP partners accessing technical support through the Technical Connection’s online knowledge management platform Techlink Professional that will continue to be available to existing adviser and institutional clients.
Technical Connection joint managing directors Tony Wickenden and John Woolley will continue in their current roles.
