The funds will be managed by fixed income & macro director Stewart Cowley, head of equities Richard Buxton and head of alternatives Paul Simpson, alongside head of multi-manager John Ventre.

The three products, which will be known as Foundation 3, Foundation 4 and Foundation 5, will target return above inflation over set time periods, and will invest in other Old Mutual Funds. The funds will further invest across the asset class range, with asset allocation managed by Ventre.

Additionally, the firm is planning to hire three new staff into Ventre’s multi-asset team to support the new products and for the launch of WealthSelect model portfolios.

The firm added that further details regarding the portfolios will be revealed over the next two months.
