Waterloo Capital has introduced Everstead, a private wealth and family office brand established to serve ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.
Operating out of the Buckhead neighbourhood of Atlanta, the unit is headed by Grayson Miller Dunaway as founder and managing partner following her recent appointment.

Experience unmatched clarity with a single platform that combines unique data, AI, and human expertise.
Alongside directing Everstead, Dunaway is tasked with assisting Waterloo’s commercial expansion across the Atlanta area.
The structure pools three business components into a single operational entity: Waterloo Family Office, Waterloo Tax Partners, and Waterloo Capital’s comprehensive investment and wealth management platform.
Through this arrangement, client mandates are administered by a unified group overseeing the entire balance sheet, replacing the process of independently liaising with separate advisers for investments, taxes, estate planning, and family governance.
Everstead provides services across four principal functional areas. Family office coordination, conducted alongside Waterloo Family Office, handles estate, tax, philanthropic, and generational planning.
Tax strategy delivered through Waterloo Tax Partners addresses investment structuring, estate and wealth transfer planning, as well as pre and post liquidity planning.
Capital allocations are addressed via Waterloo Capital under the investment intelligence remit, supplying institutional portfolio management across public and private markets.
Lastly, life-stage financial planning encompasses advisory support across every stage of client wealth, from initial asset accumulation through retirement, liquidity events, and legacy planning.
Dunaway entered the post with close to 15 years in private wealth management.
Her employment history includes tenure as a managing director at Oxford Financial Group, a multi-family office administering over $30bn in assets, preceded by positions at Goldman Sachs and UBS.
Her technical focus centres on asset location strategy, tax-aware planning, and corporate ownership transitions for business owners.
Dunaway said: “Over the course of our careers, we’ve seen a wide range of business models, offerings and cultures, and that experience led us to a key observation: client needs are continuously evolving, and the industry is struggling to keep pace.
“That leaves a gap in the marketplace we are fully invigorated to take on: an opportunity to redefine what private wealth management and family office services should look like.”
