EFG International has appointed Ranjit Khanna as CEO of its Dubai Advisory Office, effective immediately.
Khanna will oversee the next phase of the office’s development in Dubai, as the bank deepens its operations in the Dubai International Financial Centre and across the UAE.

Working under Soha Nashaat, executive chairwoman of EFG International Middle East, he will be responsible for the Dubai Advisory Office’s operations in line with the company’s plans for the UAE and its wider Middle East framework.
Nashaat said: “Ranjit’s appointment further strengthens our leadership team, and I look forward to working closely with him and the Dubai team as we continue to deepen our client relationships, expand our capabilities and execute our strategic priorities across the region.”
He will report to Patrick Ramsey, head of Continental Europe and Middle East.

Khanna joins from Bank of Singapore, where he was DIFC chief executive and ran the private banking business for clients in the Middle East, Europe and Global South Asia.
He has more than 30 years of experience in international private banking and has held senior posts at Swiss and other global financial institutions in Asia and the Middle East.
Khanna, a Singaporean citizen, started his banking career in New York.
EFG International’s Dubai Advisory Office was opened in 2019 and has since grown to a workforce of more than 60, serving private banking clients across the region.
The Dubai operation is one of the group’s main regional centres and forms part of its long-term Middle East plans.
