Anthos Fund & Asset Management has appointed Ronald Wuijster as its new chief executive, effective 10 August 2026.

He will succeed Jacco Maters, who is stepping down after eight years in the role.

The appointment is still subject to regulatory approval from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM).

Wuijster brings more than 30 years of international experience in investment management. His background includes a strong focus on long-term investing and responsible stewardship.

Most recently, he spent eight years as chief executive of APG Asset Management.

During his tenure there, he oversaw more than €600bn in assets under management.

In addition to his executive career, Wuijster currently serves on the supervisory board of the Dutch Culture Fund.

He also previously chaired the Dutch Fund and Asset Management Association.
