German asset manager DWS has named JB Park as its head of alternatives client coverage for Asia Pacific.
Park joins the firm as a managing director and will be based in Singapore.

He has more than 20 years of experience in regional fundraising and cross-border transactions across real estate, private equity and alternative investments.
In the role, he will oversee the delivery of DWS’s alternatives investment offerings to clients across the Asia Pacific region.
He will also manage a sales and investor relations team spanning Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan, covering real estate, infrastructure and private credit strategies.
Park joins DWS from LaSalle Investment Management, where he worked for more than 15 years in senior investor relations, client-facing and investment positions.
Most recently, he served as head of investor relations for Asia Pacific at LaSalle. In that role, $1.8bn of new capital was raised from investors in Japan, Australia and Korea through multiple vehicles as part of the company’s global fundraising efforts.
He also held the position of head of global partner solutions Asia Pacific, where he oversaw indirect investment opportunities and completed five platform transactions. Earlier in his time at the firm, he led investor relations in Korea after serving as head of Korean real estate acquisitions.
Before joining LaSalle, Park was head of alternative investments for Korea at Standard Chartered Bank.
