Ashwin Jayaram has been appointed by Julius Baer as the global NRI team head in Singapore. The appointment of Jayaram is in effect as of 19 August 2024.
Located in Singapore, he will report to Vijay Solomon, group head, global NRI.

Jayaram’s appointment is a crucial step in achieving the bank’s growth plan, and Julius Baer is dedicated to enhancing its position in the global NRI market. His broad experience catering to the special requirements of non-resident investors (NRIs) will be vital in advancing the bank’s audacious objectives to significantly increase its market share in this important sector.
Moreover, he brings more than two decades of wealth management industry experience to the table.
He has held a number of senior positions at prestigious institutions, such as Credit Suisse, Bank J Safra Sarasin, and Coutts Bank, that have been specifically focused on the South Asian diaspora.
Jayaram most recently held the positions of CEO and managing director at a multi-family office with MAS licensing that catered to UHNW clientele in the Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East, and South East Asia.
