Fiona Le Poidevin, chief executive of Guernsey Finance, has resigned from her position to become chief executive at the Channel Islands Securities Exchange (CISE) in early 2015.
Le Poidevin, who joined Guernsey Finance in early 2012, will remain in her position for the next six months and searches for her replacement have already begun. Activity for the second half of 2014, including visits to Asia and the Americas, will continue as planned.

Jim Gilligan, chairman, said: "The board is disappointed that Fiona has tendered her resignation but we would like to thank her for the invaluable contribution she has made to Guernsey Finance. Since Fiona joined us nearly four years ago, her commitment and professionalism have been exemplary and she has been instrumental in helping drive the agency forward during the last two years in the role of chief executive."
