In common with the existing Henderson Core 3 Income and Core 5 Income funds, the new portfolios will invest in a broad range of active and passive components, managed by Henderson’s highly-regarded multi-asset team.

Unlike many other risk-targeted funds, the Henderson Core Multi-Asset Solutions aim to provide investors with a regular stream of income. This is distributed monthly on the Henderson Core 3, 4 and 5 Income funds and quarterly on the Henderson Core 6 Income & Growth Fund.
Based on model portfolios, the Henderson Core 4 Income and Henderson Core 6 Income & Growth funds will have initial estimated yields at launch of 4.3% and 3.5% respectively. The Henderson Core 4 Income Fund will offer the potential for some capital growth, together with modest income growth through growing dividends. The Henderson Core 6 Income & Growth Fund, with its higher risk tolerance means it is likely to offer the strongest capital growth potential.
To achieve these yields the multi-asset team will use a broad spread of instruments that offer a variety of income streams, such as sovereign bonds, investment grade and high yield corporate bonds, equities, property and derivatives. The team will also draw on some of the best income ideas generated by Henderson’s wider investment teams.
The Henderson Core Multi-Asset Solutions range will now cover Distribution Technology’s risk profiles 3, 4, 5 and 6 and will be managed with the aim of remaining within these predetermined parameters over a rolling period of at least 5 years.
