Present in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha for many years, the UK bank said the office relocation in the DIFC underscores Coutts’ intention to grow the business in core international markets such as UK, Switzerland, the Middle-East, Russia and the CIS and selected Asia countries.
The strategy was initiated in 2011 by CEO of wealth management in the RBS group Rory Tapner who was awarded PBI’s Outstanding Global Private Banker at the 2012 Global Wealth Awards in Singapore.
