The Fund began trading on the NYSE on March 26, 2013 under the ticker MIE.

The Fund currently intends to pay quarterly cash distributions at a level rate, which may be adjusted from time to time based on its projected performance, including changes in portfolio and market conditions. The Fund expects that a portion of its distributions to shareholders will constitute a non-taxable return of capital. This is because distributions from MLPs are attributed to various sources, including net investment income and return of capital. A return of capital is a distribution that exceeds the Fund’s current and accumulated earnings and profits which represents a return of the shareholder’s original investment and should not be confused with "yield" or "income". To the extent the Fund pays a return of capital, a shareholder’s basis in Fund shares will be reduced, which will increase a capital gain or reduce a capital loss upon sale of those shares. There is no assurance that the Fund will always be able to pay distributions of a certain size or that a distribution will consist solely of the Fund’s current and accumulated earnings and profits.

The amount and composition of the Fund’s distributions will be disclosed quarterly at cohenandsteers.com; however, this information may change after each calendar year end once the final tax characteristics of all Fund distributions can be determined with certainty. Final tax characteristics of the Fund’s distributions will be provided on Form 1099-DIV, which is mailed after the close of each calendar year.
