As part of its on-going growth strategy, BRI Wealth Management plc has expanded its operations with the acquisition of Shropshire based financial planning firm, Walter & Co Financial planning, in an undisclosed deal.
The details of the acquisition being unknown, BRI said the takeover of Walter assists them in providing "longer term continuity" for its clients.

With wealth management as its core business, BRI has expanded its service operations to provide chartered financial planning in 2010.
After the expansion to Bridgnorth, which will be run by the staff of Walter Financial Planning, BRI will have its second office providing financial planning services to its clientele.
Paul Cusack, joint chief executive of BRI said "For some time we have been looking to complete deals with like-minded professional firms. This supports our long-term growth strategy."
BRI, which is now operating with a staff of 32, said in a statement that in the coming period it has plans to increase its staff strength by creating more jobs.
