Andrey Sokolskiy will be responsible for the corporate, small- and mid-sized and retail business, marketing, product policy, and the development of business processes. In this position, he will also supervise the operations of all the Bank’s Macro Regions — the Urals, South, Siberian and Stolitsa. The candidacy of Andrey Sokolskiy will be presented to the Central Bank of Russia for approval as the First Deputy CEO of MDM Bank.

Prior to joining MDM Bank, Andrey Sokolskiy worked at Alfa-Bank for over seven years, where he held the post of the Senior Vice-President, Deputy Head of Retail Business, and head of consumer lending and strategic partnerships. In 2011-12, Andrey Sokolskiy was also a member of the board of directors of Sentinel Credit Management, a leading Russian full-cycle debt collection agency, which is a part of Alfa Group.

In 2003-2004, Andrey Sokolskiy was in charge of the development of retail chain partnerships at Home Credit and Finance Bank, where he was responsible for determining the key lines of distribution development, managing the agency sales network, trade marketing, product line and pricing. In 2001-2003, he worked as a regional manager (Russia) in the Russian representative office of Thomson Consumer Electronics. In 1997-2001, he worked as a key account manager in the Russian representative office of Philips. In 1994-1997, he worked in the Russian and Finnish joint venture Kalinka-Stokmann.

Andrey Sokolskiy has a university degree in law and an MBA degree (Executive MBA General Management) from the Stockholm School of Economics.
