Yintech Investment, a Chinese provider of investment and trading services, has named Raphael Qian as its new vice president and CFO.

Qian most recently worked as the vice president and financial controller of Hong Kong-listed firm Shanghai Dasheng Agricultural Finance.

In his financial career of over a decade, he also served as an audit manager in KPMG Shanghai and was a financial analyst in Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.

In the new role, Qian will monitor the finance and investor relations departments.

At the same time, he will support Yintech’s CEO to drive forward the firm’s business initiatives.

Yintech chairman and CEO Wenbin Chen said: “Mr. Qian’s track record of strong financial leadership at a public company and his auditing experience will help to enhance our overall financial management capabilities.
