Waverton Investment Management has pushed further into the ESG space by unveiling a service that is targeted at clients looking for additional ethical, environmental or social overlay.
The new Enhanced Responsible Investment Service (ERIS) allows investors to exclude or incorporate certain themes and product involvement areas that align with their personal values.
The offering is available through a model portfolio to those clients with £500,000, or a bespoke service for clients with more than £3m.
With Model Portfolio, clients can gain the ability to exclude fossil fuels, armaments, animal testing, alcohol, tobacco, gambling as well as adult entertainment.
Bespoke Portfolio offers the ability to exclude more than 20 product areas.
These areas are nuclear power, palm oil, pesticides, speciality leather and predatory lending, among others.
Both the model and bespoke services incorporate positive themes.
Waverton CIO William Dinning said: “Responsible investment is reflected in all our client portfolios, demonstrated in MSCI’s AA ESG Leader rating for our flagship multi-asset Portfolio Fund.
“In addition to the elevated responsible investment standards offered to all clients, a growing number also wish to reflect their own ethical, social and environmental values in their personal portfolios. We are able to do this through our new Enhanced Responsible Investment Service, led by Mary Haly.”
