Washington Wealth Management (WWM), an independent hybrid RIA, has added two former wirehouse advisors Craig Martucci and Todd Adams in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The two advisors have over 40 years of combined experience and managed approximately $220 million in AUM at the time they joined WWM. Their practice, Martucci Adams Wealth Advisors, has affiliated with WWM as an independent standalone practice based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Washington Wealth Management (WWM), an independent hybrid Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) supporting fee and commission-based independent advisor practices across the nation, has added two former wirehouse advisors Craig Martucci and Todd Adams.
The addition of Mr. Martucci and Mr. Adams demonstrates the continued strength of Washington Wealth Management’s flexible, turnkey offering for established wirehouse advisors who are seeking the freedom and benefits of independence.
With its ability to support advisors under any affiliation model – from joining as a standalone practice to integrating with another existing practice on the platform – Washington Wealth Management has now successfully recruited nine new advisors since its acquisition by NFP in March. The new additions bring the firm’s total assets under advisement to well over $1 billion. Mr. Martucci and Mr. Adams joined WWM from RBC Wealth Management.
Rob Bartenstein, CEO of Washington Wealth Management, said, "When we enter a new market, we are keenly focused on making sure we bring on the best advisors available in that market. Craig and Todd are prime examples of this philosophy and will fit very well with our existing advisors nationally as we continue to build a core of very talented, seasoned professionals."
Mr. Bartenstein continued, "Like the many other veteran wirehouse advisors who have joined WWM, Craig and Todd will benefit right away from the greater freedom and flexibility that come with independence, including the turnkey practice management support, broad resources and deep operational expertise our team provides. For wirehouse advisors who seek to go independent – whether on their own, by forming a new team, or by joining an existing like-minded practice – Washington Wealth Management is the destination of choice to help them make their professional goals a reality. We are on a mission to return this great financial advisory business to its roots of client service and integrity. Craig and Todd are now part of that mission and we couldn’t be any more proud to be working with them."
Martucci Adams Wealth Advisors provides a wide range of financial solutions to high net worth individuals and their families, as well as to businesses. With clients throughout the western U.S., Martucci Adams specializes in converting wealth into retirement income for clients, along with estate planning and advising on company-sponsored retirement plans.
Mr. Martucci holds the designation of Accredited Investment Fiduciary from fi360, a provider of industry education and certification programs. Mr. Adams holds the designation of Accredited Wealth Management Advisor from the College for Financial Planning.
Mr. Martucci said, "Our move to Washington Wealth Management makes perfect sense for the growth of our business, thanks to the resources, compelling open-architecture platform and extraordinary practice management expertise WWM offers. More importantly, though, it also makes perfect sense for our clients. Our move away from the wirehouse world allows us to provide our clients the advice they need – without being captive to any potentially competing agendas – along with the exceptional service they expect. There was no question that WWM was the ideal partner to help us make this move."
Mr. Adams said, "Washington Wealth Management’s robust platform and outstanding transition support has enabled us and our clients to enjoy all of the exciting advantages of independence from day one. Our clients benefit from the greater level of time and attention we can devote to serving them, while Craig and I are better positioned to control the future of our business. WWM’s platform combines the freedom and flexibility we were looking for with the comprehensive resources and turnkey support we need in order to continue to grow our business and serve our clients."
Washington Wealth Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NFP., operates under its own brand and leadership team within NFP’s independent advisor-focused business group, NFP Advisor Services.
