Standard Chartered has named Judy Hsu as its new Singapore CEO, with effect from 1 October 2015.

Hsu will replace Neeraj Swaroop, who will quit the bank to pursue other opportunities.

In the new capacity, Hsu will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy for the business, building relationships with local clients and businesses, bottom-line profitability and capital, as well as relationships with local regulators and stakeholders.

She will report to Asean and South Asia regional CEO Ajay Kanwal.

In a financial career spanning more than 25 years, Hsu had an experience in wealth management, retail banking and private bank for the last 16 years.

She joined StanChart in 2009 and currently serves as the bank’s group head of wealth management.
