Private equity firm Resurgens Technology Partners has agreed to acquire InvestorForce, a provider of performance reporting solutions for investment consultants, from MSCI for an undisclosed amount.

After the completion of the acquisition, which is subject to customary closing conditions, InvestorForce will be merged with Resurgens’ portfolio company Investment Metrics that provides investment analytics and reporting solutions.

The combined company will manage nearly $10 trillion in assets and tend to investment consultants, wealth managers and investment managers.

The merged entity will offer investment tools for performance analysis, investment reporting, investment policy statements, peer benchmarking and competitive insights.

Investment Metrics founder and president Sanjoy Chatterjee said: “The merger of Investment Metrics and InvestorForce is a logical next step for our clients, employees and the industry. In this changing market where investors are demanding more from their investment solutions, we are confident that our expanded unique data offering, paired with the best in class analytics and reporting solutions, will uncover further opportunities and increase efficiencies for our clients.

“Together, we will further enhance our existing relationships and build new alliances with the industry’s leading investment consultants, wealth managers, asset owners, trusts, OCIOs and players within the alternatives space.”
