RBC Wealth Management-US has named Ann Senne as head of its newly created advice and solutions group.
Prior to joining RBC in 1994, Senne served as senior vice president and head of wealth management product for U.S. Bank.
Before that she spent over two decades at RBC, most recently as head of global client experience responsible to lead the development and delivery of a client experience strategy for RBC Wealth Management.
She also managed the teams responsible for the mutual fund and retirement solutions in the US and the firm’s North American fee-based programs.
Senne joined RBC as an internal auditor and later held several roles managing advisory products, including director of the firm's Investment Advisor Group in 2006.
In 2007, her role expanded to include management of investment manager research, alternative investment and mutual fund platforms. Three years later, she was named global managed solutions head.
RBC Wealth Management-US CEO Michael Armstrong said: "In this newly created role, she will be instrumental in strengthening our advisory and planning platforms, which will be strategic drivers of growth for the firm and key initiatives in response to the U.S. Department of Labor's fiduciary rule.
“I know her energy and passion for the business will help propel our strategy forward and ensure we are providing our clients and our advisors with the services and resources they need to be successful."
