R Capital Management, the Edmond de Rothschild Group-backed private equity firm, has spun off from its parent group, rebranding as Keensight Capital.

The management of Keensight now own 100% of the private equity firm. Previously, Rothschild owned an undisclosed majority stake, with management controlling the group’s investment strategy.
The Keensight Capital team will continue to be led by Jean-Michel Beghin, Jérôme Pujol and Pierre Rémy and will execute the same strategy.
The firm will aim to raise its first independent fund in 2014, a person familiar with the situation told efinancialnews.com. It has not yet set a target for the fund, the person said.
