In the new role, Weber will report to the team head for Germany and Austria, Thiemo Volkholz.

Meanwhile, PGIM head of international distribution Kimberly LaPointe will now move from the US to London.

The relocation is said to be in response to the firm’s growth in Europe.

Last year, PGIM added a team dedicated to Germany. The team has been tasked with marketing the asset management capabilities of PGIM in the region.

The Ucits offering of PGIM was introduced in 2013 and covers nearly 28 equity and fixed income strategies.

Last year, PGIM entered the active ETF market by rolling out a fixed income fund.

The strategy offers exposure to US dollar-denominated short-term fixed, variable and floating-rate debt instruments.
