Oppenheimer Europe has expanded its international presence by establishing a new office in Geneva.

HITC Business reported that the new office will be led by Emmanuel Geiser, alongside a team of experienced professionals.

Focusing on institutional sales across Europe, the new office will expand the firm’s institutional client coverage, access to middle market clients across Continental Europe, and ability to place securities into European institutional buyers.

Geiser joined from National Bank of Canada, where he served as general manager of their Swiss subsidiary, NBF International SA.

Additionally, Julie Chirouze has been appointed as executive director, who also joined from National Bank of Canada, where she served as vice president of institutional sales.

Furthermore, Florian Parvulesco and Luisa Puglia Giongo also joined the firm from National Bank of Canada as executive directors.
