Old Mutual Wealth has appointed Rosie Harris, George Reid and Tim Tookey as independent non-executive directors on its board.

Harris has been named chair of the board’s risk committee, and will assume the role in April 2017.

She has an experience of 30 years working in general management and chief risk officer roles. Her previous roles include chief risk officer UK Life at Aviva, group chief risk officer at Friends Life, chief risk officer and managing director roles at Lloyds Bank, group risk director at Old Mutual, and UK COO at Prudential.

Reid has been appointed to the audit and risk committees. He previously worked at Price Waterhouse/Price Waterhouse Coopers, Standard Life, and at Ernst & Young UK.

Tookey has been appointed as chair of the board’s audit committee. He previously had stints at Friends Life Group, Lloyds Banking Group, Prudential, and Heath Lambert Group.

Old Mutual Wealth independent non-executive chairman Glyn Jones said: “I am delighted to announce three strong non-executive appointments to the Old Mutual Wealth Board.

“Rosie, George and Tim between them bring an enormous depth and breadth of relevant industry and senior management experience, as well as FTSE 100 and other non-executive experience. These further appointments will help prepare the Old Mutual Wealth business for its managed separation from the Old Mutual Group.”
