Old Mutual International, a subsidiary of Old Mutual Wealth, has appointed Ivy Lee as head of business development for the Hong Kong domestic market.

In her new role, she will be responsible for building and growing the company’s reach in the domestic adviser market.

Lee will work alongside Fred Wong, who is head of distribution development for the Hong Kong domestic market. She will report to Mark Christal, CEO of Old Mutual International Hong Kong.

Lee joined Old Mutual from Friends Provident International, an Isle of Man-based insurance firm, where she was regional sales manager.

Lee, who has over two decades of industry experience in the domestic market, also held senior roles at Sun Life, Prudential and HSBC.

Commenting on the appointment, Christal said: “I am delighted Ivy has joined us, her passion for helping advisers, and ultimately customers, fits well with our culture and core values. Ivy is well respected by domestic adviser firms, and her proven track record, knowledge and expertise will help us grow our business and develop our overall market proposition.”
