Ogier, an offshore legal advice provider, has added investment funds specialist Craig Cordle as a group partner based in the Guernsey investment funds team.
Craig is the third new member of the firm's partnership since August, and expands the size of the global partnership to 53. He is joining Ogier from a London-based international firm.
Ogier Guernsey practice partner Marcus Leese said: "Investment funds has always been at the heart of our Guernsey practice and this is an area where we still see the potential for further significant growth. Craig's many years of experience in the sector and his expertise in structuring, establishing and restructuring investment funds, as well as the listing of investment vehicles, is the perfect way to bolster our strong existing team. We are delighted to welcome Craig to the partnership and to the Ogier family."
On his new role, Craig said: "Having spent many years advising on the establishment and structuring of offshore investment vehicles, many of which are based in Guernsey, I am delighted to join the Ogier team to continue that work.
“Fundraising in some sectors has been difficult over the past year, however with a New Year on the horizon, and a recent increase in viable investment opportunities out in the market, I am confident for a successful year ahead,” he added.
