Japan-based Nomura Research Institute (NRI) has introduced a new digital solution, NRI STREAM, aimed at speeding up digital transformation within the asset management sector.
Early adopters of the platform include SBI Securities, Nikko Asset Management, and Resona Asset Management.

The solution is designed to streamline information sharing and bolster digital marketing efforts across the industry.
By converting investment trust reports into HTML and utilising customer data, asset managers can now disseminate information to investors more rapidly and efficiently.
NRI plans to eventually expand the platform’s capabilities to serve a wider range of clients.
One of the main features of NRI STREAM is the HTML conversion of investment trust reports. This aligns with the 2023 amendment to the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, which favours electronic over paper delivery.

Investors can now effortlessly search for investment trusts using keywords on the sales company’s website, with pertinent reports readily available alongside the search results, thus improving the investment experience.
