The new office will support current institutional clients and develop Northern Trust’s businesses in Malaysia and the region.

According to Northern Trust, the new office will be managed by its chief representative officer Ariani Rustam.

In her new role, Rustam will be responsible for coordinating relationship building in key financial segments such as sovereign entities, government agencies, pension funds and insurance funds.
