Newton Capital Management appoints new head of North America

Newton Capital Management, part of BNY Mellon, has named Jim Wylie as new head of North America.

Newton Capital Management, part of BNY Mellon, has named Jim Wylie as new head of North America.

Based in New York, Wylie will report to Helena Morrissey, CEO of Newton Investment Management.

In his new role, Wylie will oversee the development of Newton’s North American distribution and client servicing business.

Additionally, Wylie will be appointed as member of the Newton Board subject to regulatory approval.

Wylie has joined Newton from Turner Investment Partners, where he most recently served as chief marketing officer and executive managing director. Earlier to this, he served as global head of sales at Acadian Asset Management.

Morrissey said: "He will also assume leadership of the current team of US-based sales, distribution and client service professionals. We are looking forward to working with him."
