French investment bank Natixis is set to launch a new office in Madrid on 30 April 2018 to consolidate its different businesses in Spain.

The new office will serve as the headquarters for the firm’s Spanish operations, which together employ more than 100 staff.

The office will house Natixis Madrid branch that offers investment banking, financing and capital market solutions; M&A affiliate Natixis Partners Espana, asset management unit Natixis Investment Managers; as well as leasing and renting arm Natixis Lease.

It will also accommodate fellow Groupe BPCE subsidiary Pramex that offers consulting services on international development and transactions.

Commenting on the move, Natixis Investment Managers head for Iberia, Latin America and US offshore Sophie del Campo said: “Creating a single Natixis office in Madrid is an important step in positioning Natixis in the eyes of our clients, and follows the change in the name of the asset management business globally to Natixis Investment Managers.

“We continue to grow our Iberia team, and moving into this new space allows us to take advantage of all the resources and capabilities of Natixis and to work closely together to offer the best service to our customers.”

Natixis senior country manager for Spain and Portugal Carlos Perello added: “Our clients are always our main priority, and by bringing all Natixis’ professionals in Spain together we will be able to better meet their needs, both through superior idea generation and enhanced efficiency and coordination.”
