Aberdeen’s senior independent director Anita Frew has decided to step down from the Board after a spell of ten years as a director at the firm.
Simon Troughton will be replacing Frew as senior independent director on a temporary basis.
Aberdeen said it is currently looking for a permanent replacement for Frew.
The firm said: "Aberdeen would like to place on record the Board’s grateful thanks and appreciation to Anita for her valuable contribution and commitment to Aberdeen throughout this period."
Anita Frew is currently deputy chairman and independent director at Lloyds Banking Group.
