Lipper, a unit of Thomson Reuters, has appointed Jake Moeller as head of UK & Ireland research, replacing Ed Moisson.
In his new role, Moeller will be responsible for the analysis of trends and developments in the UK and Irish fund market.
Additionally, Moeller will also increase Lipper’s research coverage on the fund of funds sector, along with qualitative fund evaluation and assessment.
Prior to joining Lipper, Moeller served as a senior assessment manager for internal and third party funds platforms at Scottish Widows, part of Lloyds.
Previously, he headed up the internal fund of funds and research team at AIG Life (MetLifeAlico).
Bob Jenkins, global head of research at Lipper, said: "We are excited to add Moeller to our European research team. He has a tremendous background in the buy side as a research analyst and portfolio manager and has spent many years analyzing collective investment vehicles as the lead manager of discretionary fund of funds strategies."
"His background, experiences and enthusiasm for the asset management industry will be a welcome addition to Lipper and a great resource for our clients and media partners."
