K2 Asset Management has launched a high conviction global equity fund, the K2 International Opportunities Fund, early this month.
The new fund will be managed by the K2 International team, which includes Nick Griffin, James Tsinidis and Jeff Thomson, according to Financial Standard.
The firm will charge management fee of 1%. According to the news source, the portfolio will consist of the team’s highest conviction ideas in a concentrated portfolio of 20-40 stocks.
The fund is a departure from K2’s stable of long-short funds and will be long-only.
