Irish accounting and business advisory firm Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon is set to depart the Baker Tilly International network and become a member firm of RSM, an independent audit, tax and consulting firm in Ireland.

The change will be effective on 3 May 2016, following which Baker Tilly will re-brand as RSM. The move is yet to receive the regulatory nod.

Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon operates from its headquarters in Dublin, as well as two other regional offices.

The firm, which currently comprises 12 partners and over 120 staff, intends to expand its workforce by 50% over the next five years.

Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon managing partner John Glennon said: "Membership in the dynamic network of RSM will enable us to move forward into an exciting era of growth that will bring huge benefits to our firm, our clients, partners and staff.

"We already have a fantastic relationship with RSM’s UK and US firms and we are looking forward to working with other RSM firms around the world in delivering services to our ever expanding international client base."
