Digital wealth management firm InvestCloud has appointed Taryn Balthazar as the EVP, head of distribution for Asia Pacific and Australia.

The Singapore-based appointment forms part of the firm’s broader strategy to form local teams across key Southeast Asia markets.

The aim is to facilitate product delivery and development of relationships with the region’s key clients and partners.

Balthazar was previously in charge of the firm’s largest robo-advice and digital self-select investing project in the US.

InvestCloud specialists from its California base will support Balthazar in developing the  Singapore outpost.

Earlier this month, InvestCloud unveiled a new product called InvestCloud White.

The product can serve as an end-to-end digital platform for RIAs and also support turnkey asset management programmes (TAMPs).

Currently, InvestCloud has a client base of more than 700 including wealth managers, institutional investors as well as family offices, among others.

The firm manages assets of over $2trn.
