InHub, an innovation firm in the institutional investment space, has launched eRFP, the first web-based technology that guides institutional investors through the cumbersome advisor selection process.
eRFP helps investment committees of foundations, endowments, and retirement plans, find qualified investment advisors, evaluate proposals online, select the winning advisor, and document the entire process. InHub’s proprietary technology offers an efficient step-by-step process with an intuitive interface, varying levels of customization, committee collaboration and is also tablet friendly.

Kent Costello and Ariana Amplo, co-founders of InHub, said: "With our new eRFP technology we aim to modernize the current, archaic Request for Proposal process. As former institutional investment consultants ourselves, we know how labor intensive and time consuming this process can be. Our goal is to help fiduciaries find specialist advisors while providing a system for a streamlined due diligence process."
Qualified investment advisors are vetted prior to joining the online network to ensure their focus on the institutional investor space. Advisors only pay a referral fee to InHub after they are hired, with no upfront cost to be on the platform or participate in an RFP.
Initial response to InHub’s eRFP technology has been strong amongst both the fiduciary and advisor community.
Tom Strieker, director of Benefits and Compensation of Dot Foods, said: "As fiduciaries, we know how important it is to periodically reevaluate our retirement plan advisor, but until InHub it has been difficult to find someone to help us navigate the process objectively and efficiently." Jeff Gratton, the Chief Marketing Officer of SageView Advisory Group, added, "Differentiation and finding new opportunities are two major issues we face every day. InHub helps solve both. We look forward to being a part of an exclusive community of like-minded advisors."
