The bank appointed David Solomon as its new CEO in July 2018, replacing Lloyd Blankfein.

Soon after, John Waldron was appointed as the bank’s new president and COO, while Stephen Scherr was named the CFO.

Last April, Goldman Sachs named John Mallory as the new head of private wealth management for Americas.

The management reshuffle takes place amidst troubled times for the bank.

Currently, two of its ex-bankers Tim Leissner and Roger Ng Chong Hwa are facing criminal charges over involvement in the 1MDB Malaysian state fund scandal.

Earlier this month, Goldman Sachs said that it could withhold pay from top executives, including Blankfein, over the scandal.
