Generali Investments SICAV, the asset management arm of Generali Group, has introduced a new investment solution – Global Multi Asset Income, which aims to generate a stable income level while growing capital.
The Global Multi Asset Income fund is expected to generate income through dividends, coupons and options’ premiums (call option), targeting gross distribution of nearly 4% per year.
The fund will be managed by the firm’s multi-asset team led by Cedric Baron. Before joining Generali in 2016, Baron served as senior portfolio manager at Lyxor AM, with responsibility for running the absolute return multi-assets fund range.
Generali Investments CEO Santo Borsellino said: “With yields at an all-time low and volatility back on the agenda, our clients are increasingly asking for sound investment strategies capable of delivering returns without concentrating market risks in one single asset class.
“Leveraging on a robust asset allocation process and on the strong expertise of our macro-research and fixed income teams, the GIS Global Multi Asset Income provides the necessary flexibility to benefit from attractive opportunities in different asset classes, without taking unwanted and unneeded concentration risks.”
