Generali Investments Asia, the Asian asset management arm of Generali Group, has appointed Yezdi Chinoy as its new CEO.
The move follows a series of senior management changes reflecting the company’s corporate strategy restructuring process to improve synergies and business growth across the firm’s diversified business segments.
Chinoy will succeed Terence Wong, who has been appointed as deputy chairman of the board of directors of Generali Investments Asia.
Prior to joining the Italian insurance major, Chinoy served Allianz Global Investors Singapore as the head of compliance for South East Asia and South Asia since 2008.
Santo Borsellino, chairman of Generali Investments Asia, said, "Generali Investments Asia is a very important element of the Generali Group’s asset management strategy. Therefore, we are very happy to have an expert and talented leadership team driving it forward. As CEO, Yezdi Chinoy will further develop and strengthen our business in Asia."
