Vista Wealth Management Group, a partner firm of Focus Financial Partners, has agreed to acquire Oregon-based Hines & Warner Wealth Management.

Set up in 2007, Hines Warner offers financial planning and investment management services.

The firm was established by Earl Hines and Greg Warner.

Hines said: “We believe this is a great opportunity not only for our firm, but also for our clients, and we will continue to provide them with the same great service they have come to expect, now with the additional resources made available by Vista and Focus.”

The acquisition is said to be Vista’s first since becoming a Focus member last year.

Vista has presence in Palo Alto, which serves as its base, along with San Francisco, Pleasanton, Santa Monica and Scottsdale.

Focus founder, CEO and chairman Rudy Adolf said: “Hines Warner allows Vista to expand its business on the West Coast by giving it a presence in Portland.

“In turn, the combination with Vista will help Hines Warner enhance the services it provides to its clients while also promoting the continuity of its business.

“This transaction again demonstrates the network benefits that Focus offers its partner firms, while also increasing the scale of our business in the high net worth sector.”

The deal is anticipated to complete in the third quarter of this year.

Financial terms of the deal were not revealed.
