First Republic Private Wealth Management has named Hank Holland as the managing director and portfolio manager.
Based in San Francisco, Holland will work with individuals and families to offer customised wealth management and estate planning strategies.

He most recently served as a managing director in the private bank and investment group at Merrill Lynch, where he worked for the last nine years.
He previously also served as a prinicipal at Bernstein Global Wealth Management for 11 years, and as a national director of Investment Planning.
