Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (DeAWM) has expanded its Deutsche X-trackers Platform by launching a new international currency hedged equity exchange traded fund (ETF).
Dubbed as Deutsche X-trackers MSCI EMU Hedged Equity ETF (DBEZ), the ETF provides investors with exposure to stocks in the Eurozone and currently holds over US$1.3bn in assets.
Tracking the MSCI EMU IMI Dollar Hedged Index, the product will provide investors with options for currency hedged access to European equities in a strong US dollar environment.
Fiona Bassett, head of Deutsche AWM’s passive business in the Americas, said: "The new launch reaffirms DeAWM’s commitment to providing innovative strategies that meet investors’ current and emerging portfolio needs."
The US exchange traded products platform of DeAWM had managed $11bn in assets under management as of 30 September 2014.
