Citi Private Bank has appointed Rob Jasminski as managing director and head of US equities at its investment management unit.

In his new role, Jasminski will manage the investment process to ensure that existing and future US equity strategies are both relevant and competitive, according to Bank Investment Consultant.

Stephanie Luedke, CEO of Citi Investment Management, said: "With a background that is both global and institutional in scope, Rob is an important addition to the team as we continue to pursue our mission of providing consistently competitive investment strategies globally, and our focus on core equity going into 2014."

Citi Private Bank offers investing and wealth advice for ultra-high-net-worth clients with more than US$25 million in net worth.
