UK-based Church House Investment Management has appointed Angelina Yap as new client director for Asia-Pacific.
Based in London, Yap will serve ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) investors settling in London from the Asia-Pacific region under the Tier 1 Investor Visa programme.
Prior to joining Church House, Angelina, Yap has worked for RBC, Standard Chartered and HSBC. Prior to this, she also served as a private banker at Merrill Lynch in New York.
Since relocating to London, she has been developing business among the Asian community and has developed Chinese families wishing to immigrate to the UK using the Tier 1 Investor Visa programme by the UK Border Agency.
James Johnsen, director responsible for business development, said: "We have for a while realised that our service and investment approach adapts itself well for the new wealth arriving in London from the Asia-Pacific region."
