Central England Business Angels has been rebranded as Oxygen Investors as part of a strategy to move form a traditional investment network to a broader funding model.
The rebranding comes after an acquisition by Oxygen Enterprise Partners in July 2013.

Oxygen Investors aims to investment in businesses with high growth potential in partnership with wealth managers and a network of high net worth individuals for making larger deals.
In addition, Oxygen Investors is also planning moving from the current £100,000 range to £200,000, as investors are looking to add more risk and potentially higher returns into their portfolios.
Oxygen Investors investment director Richard Johnston said, "Many members of angel groups across the country have been cautious with their wealth throughout the recession – despite having deep pockets the number of exits over the last few years has been relatively low – and this has undoubtedly meant that some businesses which should have been successful in raising equity capital have not been able to achieve that."
