Cantor Fitzgerald Wealth Partners has appointed Lowell Serhus as its new chief investment officer.
In his new role, Serhus will be responsible for guiding the firm’s financial advisers on portfolio and risk management, with a focus on alternative investments, reported Reuters.

Before joining Cantor Fitzgerald Wealth, Serhus ran his own capital management firm in Freehold, New Jersey, for the past two years.
Previously, Serhus served as research director at Attalus Capital. From 2001 to 2005, he served as chief investment officer and head of portfolio management at Julius Baer Investment Management.
Additionally, Cantor Wealth Partners has also signed a consulting agreement with Wilshire Funds Management to advise its investment management committee on building customized portfolios and picking outside managers.
Stan Gregor, president and CEO of Cantor Wealth, said that he has more than US$1 billion of capital to use for acquisitions and hires.
