Brown Shipley has appointed John Goldie as Private Client Director in its London office.

John joins from Lloyds’s Private Banking Division where he spent 12 years, most recently as a Senior Banking Manager. He will be responsible for providing strategic wealth management advice to Brown Shipley’s esteemed list of clients.

John has over 30 years’ experience in the banking sector. Prior to Lloyds, he had an extensive spell at Barclays where he developed an in-depth understanding of the wealth management sector.

John will report to Bob Smoker, Head of London Front Office. He holds a number of financial services qualifications including the IMC, Advanced Financial Planning Certificate and CeMAP.
