Brown Shipley, a Quintet Private Bank, has expanded its Edinburgh office with the appointments of Matt Hoyne and Gerard Wilson.

Hoyne will serve as the head of the Edinburgh office.

He will work alongside Wilson and the Edinburgh team to support the firm’s growth in Scotland.

Wilson noted: “I’m pleased to continue working closely with Matt and with our new Edinburgh colleagues.

“Brown Shipley will allow us to best meet the wealth management needs of private clients in Scotland through providing the personalisation normally associated with a boutique whilst also having access to broader capabilities within Quintet.”

Previously, Hoyne spent seven years as a director at UBS Wealth Management in Edinburgh.
